What a week. . .

Ok, so this last week has been extremely interesting and yet boring at the same time. It all started last Friday night when me and my hubby went out to celebrate his 35th birthday. We had a great night and the kids did too, thanks to Uncle Onye and Tiffany. They all went bowling and we just went out to eat. Together. Without kids. Enough said.
Once our "date nite" was over he decided to build a fire because it was pretty cold and there is just nothing better than a warm, toasty fire in the winter time. Well, that's when it happened. He was splitting some wood and pulled a muscle in his lower back, causing him much pain. (On the night before his birthday mind you!!) So long story short. . . he went to the dr and they have given him meds to make him relax and rest. Let me just tell you. . . that is an understatement. He is completely zonked all day and night on these things, and has been for the entire week. I am so ready for him to get better.
Of course, we know that he is healed by the blood of Jesus, but if you have ever had this type of injury you know that it is more seriously painful than it sounds. So I have tried to be nice and cater to him. But after a week, let me just tell you. . .  I need to run to the throne to find more grace in this area!! Let me hear all the wives out there say AMEN!!!  ;-)
He is doing much better tonight though. At least he can (quite comically) dress himself again. He is taking the next week to rest, however. We are believing for a quick and total recovery!!  He is redeemed from this mess and we are standing on that. God is good and He is faithful.  HE IS OUR PHYSICIAN!!!
